NASCAR at Richmond: Odds, key stats, bets to consider for second playoff race

Brad Keselowski earned his third consecutive win Sunday in the opening playoff race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but a fourth straight win seems unlikely as NASCAR heads to Richmond’s short track for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400.

Richmond is a level, 3/4-mile track that is quite like New Hampshire’s and Phoenix’s apartment monitors. Drivers who have had success at those tracks have been contenders in Richmond.

Phoenix and New Hampshire was seen by NASCAR after each earlier. From the desert, Kevin Harvick took the checkers, but Kyle Busch led the most laps. Harvick also won New Hampshire, but it was Kurt Busch leading the most laps.

Keselowski finished 15th and 32nd at Phoenix and New Hampshire this year, but he’s finished 11th or better in the past six races in Richmond. A top-10 seems likely for the No. 2 team, but you will find drivers more fit for the short-track racing on Saturday.
